Sauteed Sweet Potato Knobs

Sauteed Sweet Potato Knobs

Small vegetable buttons are a visual and taste enrichment.

For the sautéed sweet potato buttons, cut out 0.5 cm thick slices. Practically, a round nozzle is suitable here – on the one hand it is sharp enough and on the other hand the buttons can be easily removed.

The leftovers can be processed into puree.

Action:

  • Cut the sweet potato into the required number of slices
  • Peel the slices if you want to use the leftovers
  • Cut out the required number of buttons
  • Heat clarified butter or other heat-resistant fat on high
  • Cook buttons in it until they are golden yellow, at the specified thickness they are then also done
  • Season with salt, chilli, coriander or cumin also goes well with this
