Pea puree impresses on the one hand with its fresh green color and on the other hand with the sweetness of the cooked peas. This makes the puree an exciting side dish in itself.

The pea puree prepared here was also provided with a little “boom”. A spoonful of hot Thai curry paste adds an exotic note with lemongrass, chili, ginger and other flavors.


  • 500 g frozen peas
  • 20 grams of butter
  • 20 g Thai curry paste


  • Variant 1: Classic or in a cooking mixer
    • Put the peas in a pot
    • Add curry and butter together with 100 ml water
    • Bring to the boil with the lid on and cook over medium-high heat until the peas are tender
    • Puree in the food processor or with a hand blender
    • Season to taste with salt
  • Variant 2: In the Robot Coupe
    • Add all the ingredients to the kettle without the water
    • to close the lid
    • Set temperature to 85°C
    • Finely puree everything at 2500 rpm for 2 minutes
    • Finish cooking at 600 rpm for 12 minutes
